This is the basic Great Loop Route, but there are many variables, choices and sidetrips along the way.  We will be making those decisions as we go, considering weather and time available.  The trip generally runs 6,000-7,000 miles.


We know that we want to spend some time in the Bahamas and in Canada.

The Bay Late in May (Chesapeake that is!)
New York Harbor sometime in June
Canada in July
Be in Chicago by late August or early September
Down The Mighty Mississippi
Back on the Tennessee River October
